“海归”成“海龟”

“海外学成归来，意气风发，行为举止西化，讲究生活品质，说话不时蹦出外语单词，在国内有体面的工作，拿着可观的薪水或者有自己的公司”——这是几年前人们眼中的“海归”。

但而今的事实是：当一个“海归”在面前飘过，人们可能不会像以往一样用羡慕的眼光追随；与此同时，“海归”们观望周遭的视角，也已回落到水平线，或者水平线以下。

变化发生的原因林林总总，但此时我们想还原的，只是他们的生存状态，这个略显特殊的群体中，许多个单独个体鲜活的故事。

找份合适的工作

去年11月底，南京海外人才交流会在南京人才大厦举行。鼓楼医院、南京市第一医院、中电光伏等54家招聘单位现场设摊，提供500多个工作岗位，吸引了400多名“海归”入场。结果，只有100多名“海归”与用人单位达成初步就业意向。

在现场，敢到一些高管、高技术职位展台前一试身手的“新海归”寥寥无几。一名刚从英国回来的“新海归”表示：“这些职位，有一定海外工作经验的'海归'更敢上前去，像我这样刚从海外学成回国的，很难迈进门槛。”

据南京当地媒体记者观察，当天，现场直接提出薪酬待遇的求职者不到两成。更多的人和去年9月回国，日本长崎大学分子药理与神经科学的硕士马妍一样，相比薪酬待遇，更关心岗位是否与专业对口。

JACKIE与刘佳的遭遇和马妍相似。两人一个在北京，一个在深圳，留学地分别是澳洲和英国，前者80年生人，后者81年生人。巧的是，在《民声》记者对两人的采访之初，他们都强调自己“不像典型的80后”，留学经历让他们的心智更为成熟、沉稳。

JACKIE现在面临两个选择——放弃不太喜欢的IBM，跳槽去新的公司做项目经理，然后等待漫长的升职过程；抑或“回炉”念个MBA，考虑自己创业。

JACKIE家在辽宁，2000年到新加坡学习商业管理，之后跑到澳大利亚科廷理工大学（Curtin University of Technology）继续相关专业，2003年6月本科学业完成回国，在上海和深圳各工作了两年。作为“老海归”，JACKIE和他认识的“海归”们不同，归国4年间只跳了一次槽。之所以不喜欢现在的工作，是因为他觉得和自己的专业，以及自己的中远期职业规划并不完全契合。

不过他也承认，虽然不满足，但有时他也会倦怠，“时间久了，有时也觉得工作做到professional就不错了。”在闲暇时间里，他曾做过贸易洽谈会的翻译，体育赛事志愿者等，他把这些经历当成工作之余，生活的平衡点。

与一些觉得“外国月亮就是比较圆”的人不同，07年年底刚从英国密德萨斯大学（Middlesex University）毕业的“新海归”刘佳谈到自己在国外的学习和生活时，明确表示羡慕国内大学单纯轻松的生活。 “同寝室的哥们儿可以称兄道弟，不用打工，不用为房租发愁，多好的生活啊”。他觉得在国外最大的一个收获是变得独立成熟了，谈吐见识都大有长进，举止也变得“比较绅士”。

JACKIE和刘佳当下的职业前景有很大不同。 JACKIE坦言，归国至今，自己流利的英语，90%的面试通知率，以及在亚太地区最大的软件公司IBM 的工作经历让他“很有优势”；而因为回国才2个月，刘佳现在的工作，还只能是以实习生身份进入北京某传媒研究所，在里面做资料搜集。

不过，刘佳对未来倒是不太担心：他惟一感觉不适应的是国内某些政策，以及“加班”文化。

最终选择回国

中国联合国教科文组织协会全国联合会的副秘书长丁宏宇认为，上个世纪80年代末90年初，“海归”曾有个断档期，那时，他们在各个岗位得到重用。而且， 那时留学多由国家公派，“质量”有保证。但90年代后期开始，自费生的比例超过了公费生。 “留学的盲目性，也是导致'海带'出现的重要原因。个人、家长及有关部门都有责任。”

对于这个官方说法，刘佳和JACKIE有自己的体会。由于“出去”得不容易，本着“及早回款”，加之锻炼自己的心态，留学之初，JACKIE就开始打工，几年间，他为自己赚取到了几乎一半的生活费。同样，刘佳最初从7小时30英镑的餐厅服务生做起，大二开始接了一份旅游“地接”工作后，他每月能有超过3000英镑（折合人民币约4万5千元）的收入，可以说相当可观。

其实当初，刘佳和JACKIE都有“绿卡”的诱惑，但权衡利弊之后，他们都选择了“回国”。虽然竞争愈发激烈，但国内发展形势的利好也显而易见，他们认定最终可以获得相应的社会身份，以及个人价值的实现。

刘佳表示，如果单从生活条件上来说，在英国，他已基本过上了“理想的生活”——在伦敦近郊和另外一个男生合租下一个小房子，买了二手车，养着狗——但如果留在英国，这种“买房买车娶老婆，一眼看到30年后”的生活依然让他感到恐惧，他考虑更多的是“归属感”问题。 “自己还年轻，还想再拼搏几年”。

回顾轨迹，JACKIE说如果当时留在澳洲，现在可能已经拿到了“永久居住权”，但职业规划在那儿不好展开。再说，如果国内“混不好”，再出去也不是什么难事。

两个职业规划，“老”JACKIE更倾向于进修MBA，之后自己创业。 “新”刘佳则表示，“我从来没想过什么是'海归'理想的职业，是人去适应职业，不是职业适应人。我们和没出国的人一样，最终比拼的，还是个人能力。”

留学经历很失败

2006年底，国内某媒体引自全球权威职业调查机构“HR实验室”对1500个中国“海归”样本的统计结果显示：截至2006年中期，有35%以上的海归存在就业困难，他们不得不暂时待业而成为“海带”；有60%的受访者愿将月薪标准下降1000元人民币；3个月未找到工作的占30%。

2004年到法国留学的张郗芮正是以上数据中的一员。

张郗芮，1984年出生，武汉人。 2004年高中毕业后到法国留学。踏上上海飞巴黎航班的那一刻，她还不满20岁。她说自己“在此之前从未出过远门，第一次坐飞机，里面全是外国人。”

到了法国，在校学习了几个月后，张郗芮恍然醒觉：自己被中介骗了。原本在高中学文科的她因为中介公司图方便而一起“打包”送到了一个理科学校学习预科。 “除了语言学习，其他都是废的，我什么都不懂。”

忍受了半年之后，张郗芮申请了另外一家学校重新学习语言。辗转几次，正经的考试都没几次。

张郗芮是典型的南方女孩：瓜子脸，白白的皮肤，很有气质。在法国，她多次被人追求。 “有帅的，有年纪大的，还有开着跑车的大帅哥，我打过工的一家店的老板超喜欢我，给我过生日……还有个男人跟踪我一天，就为了认识一下，后来找了我好多次，说要跟我结婚。”

因为“身体不好，家里又出了点事”，在法国留学3年后，张郗芮最后还是回到了国内。只是，她没想到在国内找一份工作那么难。

半年前，通过重重面试，她进入了号称是“全武汉最好的酒店”做GRO（客务关系主任）。但是，在“朝九晚五”的作息和“没有素质的客人”的双重折磨下，张郗芮在那儿做了1个月后就辞职了。

现在回想起来，张郗芮觉得自己那时比较挑剔：“工资低，又不是自己感兴趣的行业。我喜欢比较自由点的。”

而今，张郗芮找寻新工作的同时，在继续学习法语。她坦承，法国对于她是个“甜蜜的折磨”，“有时做梦，还会梦到嫁到了那边”。说到这些，她脸上露出一丝苦笑，“不管怎么样，走一步看一步吧，学都学了，未来应该能有惊喜。”

平平淡淡才是真

春节长假后的第一个周六，刘元（化名）休息。她八点不到起床，比平时晚了一个小时，宿舍里的小姑娘们都还在睡觉。往常休息的时候，她一般是逛大街、睡大觉、看电视“三部曲”，今天不同了，她要等一个阿姨过来拿鸡蛋——她家乡的特产。她在京的这一年里，他们没少照顾她。 “我妈说没啥好拿的，就拿柴鸡蛋了。 ”

刘元大学在北京读的，专业是计算机科学与技术，而今在西城区一家医院的住院部收费处工作。每天面对显示器，算是与自己所学有点关联。

“高考志愿是父母给挑的，我喜欢园艺，但父母说'那能当吃能当喝呀'？”虽然听了家里的话，但四年大学刘元学得很憋闷。去年秋冬，和刘元学同一个专业的朋友曾在她这里借住，两人挤一张床。 “我们都不喜欢这个专业，这个专业不适合女生。”

不喜欢专业，又没有别的特长，这是刘元和那位女同学毕业时面临的相同困境。 “但她有男朋友照顾。”

没有男朋友，刘元留在北京，更多是家人的意愿，而非自愿。 “其实我是很恋家的，没野心，喜欢在小地方过平淡的小日子”。刘元说自己是个听话的乖孩子，别人让做什么就会尽力做好，对工作也是干一行爱一行。作为一个本科生，她对收费员这份工作并无微辞，她倚此生存，与同事相处甚欢，作息规律，过得平淡但踏实。因为这，朋友笑她：“刘元，你是踏实得过头了，憨，跟许三多似的。”

“其实一开始也有些抵触心理，毕竟与期盼值有落差。但不明显，加上同事对我都很好，很快就适应了。”

在医院工作与做白领截然不同，她每六天就要值一个夜班。 “我最讨厌值夜班了，一个夜班下来，人都老了十岁；一个人值班，不睡吧，可能一夜都没个缴费的， 睡吧，有时十几分钟就来一个；冬夜里，从暖烘烘的被窝里起来，跑个来回，就感冒了；我肠胃不好，夜里没休息好，早上就没胃口，还恶心”。很不幸，今年除夕夜她还值了个夜班，初一一大早才坐上回河南老家的火车。

除了夜班，总是与钱打交道，也是件“胆颤心惊”的事，即使很谨慎，依然免不了犯错，出了差错，就得自己赔钱。

她办了张离就职医院不远的月坛公园的年票，没事儿就去晒晒太阳，呼吸下新鲜空气；她爱买书，关注不同时段的畅销书。她最爱看卡耐基和拿破仑·希尔的书， 《人性的弱点》看过好几遍，还有《谁动了我的奶酪》、《20几岁决定女人的一生》之类。最近，她刚看了毕淑敏的《心灵游戏》，她认为求人不如求己，自己保持积极乐观的心态，提升自我素质，胜过从亲友处寻求慰藉；与大多年轻女孩儿一样，还喜欢看韩剧，喜欢唱歌，最拿手的是王菲的歌；平时，她在一些购物指南类的杂志上了解各商场的活动，之后去商场溜达溜达，实地了解各品牌服装的款式和优惠活动，然后等——等到最划算的时候再出手；她不化妆，衣着简单大方，虽然心态还略学生气，但不露稚气。

“我没有太强烈的爱憎，有些随波逐流，也因此没有太多焦虑和郁闷。比如在宿舍看电视，电视就一个频道，眼睛却好多双，喜好都不同，一般大家看什么我就看什么，什么都可以看得津津有味。”

前段时间宿舍女孩都追着看《奋斗》，有人感叹：这才是八零后的生活啊。她不以为然，她并不向往那种所谓鲜衣怒马的生活。愤世嫉俗不属于她，激情澎湃好像也不属于她。

有时候，她也自问：不知道现在八零后中我这样的多不多？

不过，上面列举的事实并不代表刘元不思进取。她在新东方报了个基础会计课程班，她的目标是会计电算化证书，“会计是我喜欢的职业，同时也不浪费我四年所学”。最近，她又迷上了理财类图书，还买了定投基金，“每月被迫划去五百块”。

三月份的北京市会计从业资格考试在即，刘元正在抓紧时间复习。

她说自己只想做好眼前的事。
